Music & Language Lab is designed for children ages 0–7 and their families who want to support communication, creativity, confidence, and connection through meaningful music experiences.
Created by a certified music educator, ESL teacher, and future speech-language pathologist, the program blends music education, child development, and language-supportive practices for children of all backgrounds and abilities.
Music & Language Lab is a music program that uses singing, movement, rhythm, instruments, mindfulness, and connection to support children’s communication development, self-expression, and emotional growth.
Each session combines the principles of music education, language learning, and nervous-system-aware instructional practices to create predictable, welcoming environments where children feel safe to participate, explore, and connect.
Music & Language Lab brings engaging music experiences directly to homes, libraries, preschools, community spaces, and family-centered organizations throughout the Philadelphia area.
Private group sessions and community partnerships available.
See "Programs" tab for more information.
Music & Language Lab offers group classes, private sessions, and community programming Friday-Sunday throughout the year.
Beginning Fall 2026, classes will be available throughout the Philadelphia area.
Music is a powerful tool for connection and communication. Through shared musical experiences, children build skills that support language development, confidence, creativity, and emotional expression.
At Music & Language Lab, every child is encouraged to explore, communicate, and find their own voice in a supportive environment where all forms of expression are valued. Children explore music while building listening skills, vocabulary, and confidence using their voices.
